Describe the differences between specific phobias, social phobias, and agoraphobia.
Specific phobias: It is phobia which one gets strong irrational fear towards common places, situations, anything that gives fear. Person who has specific phobias cannot stop herself or himself from the reaction.
Social phobias: Social phobia is getting fear from not threatening situations, usually when a person being embarrassed or humiliated by his or her action, such as presenting or speaking in a public. Same as specific phobia, person who has a social phobia cannot help herself or himself from the anxious reaction.
Agoraphobia: Agoraphobia is a mental illness which a person tend to avoid public places or open spaces, where he or she was attacked. Person who has a agoraphobia try to avoid the places, and has her or his own safety places.

One common fact about three phobias is a person who has one of the three phobias tend to have a fear towards a certain places, and cannot stop their action towards the fear.

What symptoms do children with generalized anxiety disorder have?
Children with generalized anxiety disorder are hard to concentrate on one thing for a long time. They also tend to have difficulty on sleeping. Most of the children who have an anxiety disorder are perfectionists. Therefore, they repeatedly do their homework, that they had already finished.

Why is it difficult for individuals with panic disorder to get a correct diagnosis?
It is difficult for individuals with panic disorder to get a correct diagnosis because they are afraid that they would get attacked or continuous of experiencing the fear. Phobias are curable, but it is hard for patients to get fully over with the phobias. Due to other mental and physical disorders, patients tend to have a hard time in the process of curing their mental illness.

Describe the methods used to treat anxiety disorders.
Person can overcome with the anxiety disorders by two different therapies, which are behavior therapy, cognitive therapy, medication, and relaxation techniques. Behavior therapy helps a patient by learning to overcome the fear by cope with situations which they cause anxiety. Through the treatment, a patient can have a control over unwanted behavior. Cognitive therapy works by examining feelings and learning a separation of unrealistic and realistic thoughts. Medication helps to balance chemical imbalances that caused symptoms. Lastly, relaxation techniques helps the patient by exercise, which helps to relieve stresses that caused anxiety disorders.
